Rocky Daniels-Abelho is one of the recurring characters of Desperate Schoolboys. An intuitive and charismatic husky, Rocky protects the household and keeps his loving owners company, all the while oblivious to the drama that surrounds them. He is spirited and will do what he will, but his heart is always in the right place.
Mary has been staying with Rena in the house he shares with Hugo and Rocky for the two weeks that passed since the Strange house burnt down. Hugo seems to be losing his memories and to be more distracted, and one night, as he wonders who Justine is from a photograph, a fire starts in the house, unbeknownst to him. Rocky tries to warn him, to no avail. Rena and Mary wake up and evacuate the house with Hugo, and Rocky follows after them. The family is left homeless. ("The Start of Something New") Following this, Rocky and his family move in with Rena's biological parents, Miguel and Christina Belindro. ("Blinding One's Eyes") Rocky keeps the family company while they play cards, and Hugo shows yet one more sign of his dementia when he goes out to get milk, despite the fact that the family is stocked up on milk. ("Think Before You Shoot")
